Pornography depicting rape will be outlawed as part of a government crackdown on web filth.
David Cameron today unveiled a raft of reforms to shield children from 'poisonous' websites that are 'corroding childhood'.
In a victory for the Daily Mail, the Prime Minister announced every householder connected to the internet will have their access to online porn blocked unless they ask to receive it.

People nowadays, if they know it is banned, will search even harder for it.

Porn becomes quite boring actually. That’s if you’re normal I suppose.

Wholeheartedly agree. The soft-core stuff doesn't show me anything I haven't seen before, and the hard-core stuff doesn't show me anything I WANT to see.

Or simply use a proxy that exits outside of the UK and search from there. . .

Porn cannot depict rape, but a regular move can show cities being leveled?

No doubt, the MPs, the House of Lords, the government, and the Royal Family are exempt from this law - they need access for fact-finding purposes ...

Camera’s on every street, arrests made for overtly Christian speech, almost no real civil rights, and the British are worried about the slippery slope of porn filters?
Of course, Americans are little better.

This has been tried in Australia and when the list of blocked sites was leaked thousands of innocent sites were also on the list. Given the experience with the IRS in the US imagine what sites would be blocked if corrupt bureaucrats and political hacks were in charge.

After Britain banned Mark Levin and Pam Geller because they are critical of Islam, I wonder what the government will consider porn - Christian sites for instance?
