We get it: Jesse think Chris lied. How does he expect to prove that if Chris is dead? If has such evidence it doesn’t take a lawsuit to show it and prove it.

To me, Jesse is a putz for this. If he truly wanted to show his Team spirit she would take one for his Chris’s wife if that’s what it takes. Teammates do that for each other.

I think he was UDT.

Correct. And if he claimed to be a UDT Frogman that would be fine, true, and honourable. It's what he did and what he was. The UDTs were still in business when he separated from the Navy. He never became a SEAL.

Well his reputation will really be great now that he’s suing the widow of a war hero.

Way to go in your next bid for political office Jesse. Stay in Mexico loser.

Why does it say he was appointed then? Confused?

The statute (Federal Magistrates Act of 1968) uses the word "appointed," because "elected" sounds like an election by the public. But it says "[t]he judges of each United States district court... shall appoint United States magistrate judges...by the concurrence of a majority of all the judges of such district court" so there is normally not one person doing the "appointing." In any event, it isn't the President who appoints magistrates.

I live in mineeeesota-

I thought this guy was a big blowhard- and he has proved
it!!

Now what?- goes after the widow!!

Time to go after jesseeees family!!

From — his underage drinking lowlife son
to — his mentally handicapped daughter
and— his trashy wife

How does that feel Jesse??-

(I really believed we would never see this loser again-
after moving to mexico— no luck)

Jesse might want to call it a day. Going after a live Navy SEAL is dumb enough, but going after a well respected SEAL’s widow is likely to invite a visit (or long range delivery) from said SEAL’s former comrades.

Some of those fellows are mercs and may not have any qualms at all about giving Jesse 200-300 grains of goodbye medicine.

You’re right. He won’t win anyone over with this move. At one time I thought the guy was somewhat of a novelty, but over time he just melted down. This is just another of his idiotic moves while headed to the bottom.

One of only two former governors who admitted steroid abuse.

They both got elected talking tough about stupid life choices that freeloaders make, and how the rest of us should not be obliged to bail out everyone.

Then they governed like Caspar Milquetoast.

Ventura lectures about making stupid life choices?
Is he trying to be an example of that?

I heard that Kyle didn’t name Ventura specifically. Also, Ventura (Dbag- Minnesota) is a public figure.

can proceed with the war hero’s widow as a substitute defendant, a judge has ruled

Bad reporting. The judge allowed the suit to continue against the original defendant's estate. The widow is the executrix of the estate, but the suit is against the estate assets, not her personal assets.

Not that this isn't still a dumb move by Ventura, but the article makes it sound even worse than it was.
