The verdict that declared George Zimmerman not guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin was a traumatic event for America's civil-rights establishment, and for many black elites across the media, government and academia. When you have grown used to American institutions being so intimidated by the prospect of black wrath that they invent mushy ideas like "diversity" and "inclusiveness" simply to escape that wrath, then the crisp reading of the law that the Zimmerman jury displayed comes as a shock.
On television in recent weeks you could see black leaders from every background congealing into a chorus of umbrage and complaint. But they weren't so much outraged at a horrible injustice as they were affronted by the disregard of their own authority. The jury effectively said to them, "You won't call the tune here. We will work within the law."
Today's black leadership pretty much lives off the fumes of moral authority that linger from its glory days in the 1950s and '60s. The Zimmerman verdict lets us see this and feel a little embarrassed for them. Consider the pathos of a leadership that once transformed the nation now lusting for the conviction of the contrite and mortified George Zimmerman, as if a stint in prison for him would somehow assure more peace and security for black teenagers everywhere. This, despite the fact that nearly one black teenager a day is shot dead on the South Side of Chicagoto name only one cityby another black teenager.
This would not be the first time that a movement begun in profound moral clarity, and that achieved greatness, waned away into a parody of itselfnot because it was wrong but because it was successful....

Let’s just say that the old, beat-up, used “race card” has been declined.
The BGI has descended from trying to lynch an innocent Hispanic to accusing a jury of 6 women [1 black] of racism for their jury verdict to blaming all whites for not joining them in their hallucination.
Here is one of those great moments in historical hallucinations shortly after the infamous family conclave in the mayors office:

Look at Natalie Jackson she has aged about 20 years in the last year
“Lets just say that the old, beat-up, used race card has been declined.”
Yep. Tired of hearing whiny b!tches yell “racism” at every turn, as though we don’t have a black _resident and attorney general. It’s the same, tired, racist politics Coleman Young used to engage in: the white suburbs were racists! For years he was accused of creating a “fortress Detroit, us against them” mentality. Look where its gotten Detroit today.
Black America has, in large part, failed to assimilate in America and its because of the cries of racism its so-called leaders throw around at every turn.
They were calling for Race Rioting, and only got Race Baiting.. They must have sent their message in cursive.. :)
They long for the good old days when they wielded power and could destroy reputations and careers with the mere accusation of “Racist”.
Now the word has been so overused that no one pays any attention to their rants.
Times have changed and the roles have been reversed - People like Obama, Holder, Jackson, Sharpton and organizations like the NAACP are now the real racists.
Every now and then an issue like the Zimmerman/Trayvon case rises up and the old race pimps over-react, trying to recapture the center stage and the lost importance of their early years.
But they always end up just making bigger fools of themselves.
The truth is that the only racism I have ever seen in America is racism against white people.
I used to be full of empathy for blacks and their “plight”, but no more.
Everyone in my family has been a victim of some sort of crime or racism against us, because we are white. EACH PERSON!
Rioting, Terrorism, Rape, theft- and then heaps of affirmative action which denies us OUR Civil Rights... and frankly I am D.O.N.E
Do the educated people say dis and dat and wif when they are not in front of a microphone pandering to “their people” or is it just to part of the card?
” tapes was released even against Advice from their Advisors.”
Mister T would refer to this as JIBBER JABBER!
Shelby can say this ‘cause he is black, right? A white or even a white Hispanic would be racist if they said this....
Shelby can say this ‘cause he is black, right? A white or even a white Hispanic would be racist if they said this....
So-called “DIVERSITY” is a code word for “NON-WHITE.”
“AFFIRMATIVE ACTION” is a code word for “STATE-SANCTIONED RACISM.”
All these sneaky feel-good terms invented by the left are just a way to slickly package their evil socioeconomic policies.
Don’t fall for it, sheeple!
Reading this, it seems the demise Steele is detailing in the civil rights movement can also be said of America and the Christian church in America.....the leadership has profoundly failed all three, with a few rare exceptions.
Decline? I dunno. They seem to be filling the old coffers quite nicely over the corpse of 17 year old Trayvon.
The movement was successful, but then its people were co-opted into a life of compensatory indolence. With all the tools of success arrayed before them, much of black America and particularly its urban cohort, chose the path of indentured constituency, and thence to failure as a people.
My reservoir of empathy has been been sucked drier than the Sahara Desert.
Everybody has their hands out, and that includes RINOs.
I, for one, have NEVER held blacks or hispanics to any other standard than the one I hold everyone, including white, to. Just because that makes them lazy ignorant slobs in my book is not racist, they just are.
Ping for later.
Got work to do.
dat's when dey be speakin in code so dat der peeps know when to lissenup.
