Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz Closing Clinic in New Jersey

The Planned Parenthood abortion business is closing yet another location — this time in New Jersey. The abortion giant will close the facility it operates in Somerset County within the next month.

From a local news report:

A woman who answered the phone at the Manville Planned Parenthood Thursday afternoon confirmed the location will be closing within the next month, although she said no particular closing date has been set yet.

The woman did not provide her name to NJ.com, and she referred comment to the media relations department of Planned Parenthood of Central and Northern New Jersey, which declined to comment on the closing.

Several NJ.com readers said on Facebook they recently received an automated message from the Manville Planned Parenthood, indicating the clinic’s patients would soon have to go to a different location.

The next closest Planned Parenthood location to Manville — which is located on South Main Street in the borough and only open on Thursdays, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. — would be in New Brunswick.

The closing of another center run by the abortion business comes on the heels of an announcement yesterday that Planned Parenthood would close three clinics in Texas.

No sooner did Texas Governor Rick Perry sign into law a bill that bans abortions after 20 weeks and holds abortion facilities accountable for higher health and safety standards than the Planned Parenthood abortion business announced it was closing clinics. 

The abortion giant informed employees at three locations in Texas that they would be closing. Those locations include Bryan, Huntsville and Lufkin, Texas — all run by the Houston affiliate of the abortion business.

Those locations include the abortion business former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson ran before becoming pro-life.

MANVILLE — The only Somerset County location of Planned Parenthood will be shutting its doors within the next month, according to a representative at the clinic in the borough.

New Brunswick is less than 10 mi. from Manville.

The Manville clinic was only open one day a week and it did not do abortions; it referred.

It was an ugly blot in Manville which is a nice little Polish Catholic working class town, big Hispanic presence now.

Anyway, this doesn’t represent much of a change.

Somerset Co. folks are still very largely pro-choice, even most of the Republicans. It runs wealthy and secular although it has pockets of the poor and working class.
