Really good interview. Instead of talking "compromise" he talked about NOT compromising conservative views. He said in one clear sentence why a "pathway to citizenship" is a bad idea. He showed humor, intelligence, clarity, and no need to pander.
Not only is he helping his own future, I think he's making it easier for others to embrace constitutional conservatism. He even gave Rubio an opening to repent and save his integrity, I thought.
Given that, he should run in 2016 before he gets ruined by being in DC too long.
And the competition won't be that bad. In the next year or so, Marco Rubio should figure out that he would have better luck running for the nomination and winning the general election if he runs as a Democrat, because his competition would be Hillary, Joe Biden and maybe Anthony Weiner. Rubio doesn't look too bad compared to that line-up.
