I wonder what the deal was with the license tag??? Just whose vehicle was it that they didn’t want anybody to know about.
This explains why the defense had such a difficult time getting anybody in Martin’s circle of friends to agree to testify. The intimidation and threats keep even the big black reporters in line.

There is a $$$ threshold for felony theft. You have assault (putting you in fear of being hurt), simple battery in touching him and targeting because of his race. He was apparently the only white person there and the only one picked on.
