May be smart move, doncha know. Somebody starts trading on the gun that killed Trayvon for $50k, might be inflammatory. Give him $500 for a new pistol and let this thing die.

In terms of law is another question though, yes it is his property, if he wants it back he should get it back....but I think I understand where he is coming from.

It's actually not a bad idea and I don't think O'Mara's bad for suggesting it. Destroying the gun would destroy one of the symbols of the Race Baiters. They can still wave their bloody shirt hoodie, but they won't be able to conjure up the boogie man image of George carrying *that* gun.
George doesn't need that particular weapon. He needs a whole bunch of new and better ones.
