Since we're on cemetaries which is more pleasant than the article, the only Jewish military cemetery outside Israel, in Richmond, VA.

Thus far no insistence to remove references to the Confederacy or flags, but I'm sure it's coming.

Have you been to Memphis? Cool confederate cemetery in the middle of town. Not Jewish, but I think I remember J.E.B. Stuart being interned under a horseman statue.

Back to New Mexico. I bet if you knock around Los Alamos or the Enchanted Circle area you could find interesting artifacts. There is a large Jewish Heritage center in Albuquerque, http://www.nmjewishhistory.org/ I bet if you contact them you could find out all kinds of information. I didn't drill down into the web site but lots of info here.
