I wouldn’t mind if it meant that Islamic history was subject to the same criticism as western history is. But you know it won’t be.

Teachers will no doubt be instructed to emphasize Islam’s “tolerance” in comparison to European warfare and the Holocaust. Islam’s conquests will be referred to as “expansion” instead of “invasion.” Current Islamic warfare will all be blamed on colonialism. The treatment of women will be dressed up as “respect” rather than punishment and male ownership.

c’mon Nick...How do you think Islam is going to be presented? You think they’ll show Mohammed as a madman, who glued together parts of Judaism and Arianism by way of his epileptic fits; only to create a theocracy bent on destroying anything that got in its way (i.e. all of N. Africa et al)? Me thinks the cleansed version of “Islam; the religion of peace” will be taught.
