WASHINGTON -- Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX 36) will seek to force a vote in Congress on creating a select committee to investigate the Obama administrations handling of the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
Following the cancellation of a House hearing this week on the Benghazi attacks, Rep. Stockman announced his intention to file a discharge petition to force a vote on Rep. Frank Wolfs H. Res. 36, which would establish a Select Committee to investigate the Benghazi attacks.
Congressman Wolf has fearlessly led the fight for justice on this issue. The whole nation owes Congressman Wolf a deep debt of gratitude. Some House Democrats now appear to be openly interfering with the investigation and intimidating witnesses, which only raises more questions about the White Houses involvement, said Stockman. The only way were going to get a clean and thorough investigation is by forcing a vote with a discharge petition.
The House Foreign Affairs Committee, of which Rep. Stockman is a member, had originally scheduled a hearing, entitled Benghazi: Progress on State Department Accountability, for Thursday, July 18 at 10 a.m.
According to Rep. Wolf, a Select Committee is the only way to effectively conduct an investigation the attacks.
If 218 House members, a majority of the chamber, sign the discharge petition H. Res. 36 would be recalled from committee and considered on the floor.

Delay and denial was to get the Zimmerman trial out of the way. Also Issa hasn’t been particularly determined about this. Or anything for that matter.
Yeah!
That’s the ticket!
After all, SOOO much good came from from the 9/11 c0mmission!
Save your replies. I have no faith or trust in ANYTHING our government does anymore and only ACTION will persuade me to think otherwise.
Yeah, Issa kind of reminds me of a sailboat with no sail, or motor, or oars, or rudder, or even a hull for that matter.
Thank you for the links, is it going to be put on the sidebar closer to the 27th? I don’t want to miss following this!

Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.
So letting an openly homosexual American ambassador be surrounded and trapped for hours, forgetting to check your intelligence and refusing to send rescue and support assets in isn’t a big deal when a Democrat does it?
Perfect!
He's up inside the President where the sun don't shine.
That’s obviously the way democrats see it.
You're Welcome. :)
It's on the sidebar listed in three seperate categories:
Hmmm...looks like I need to look in preferences. My sidebar doesn’t have all that.
Sweet! Thank you!
My Pleasure!
Boner? I believe he’s in the library, smoking a Marlboro and crying in his scotch.
Good luck and God speed, Rep. Stockman
Have you noticed that with this Zimmerman trial and chasing Snowden the news on Benghazi, Fast & Furious, IRS, and Solyndra no longer exist in any MSM?
Yep.
