(CNN) -- The woman known as Juror B37 in the George Zimmerman trial released a statement exclusively to CNN Wednesday pushing for new laws.
"My prayers are with all those who have the influence and power to modify the laws that left me with no verdict option other than 'not guilty' in order to remain within the instructions. No other family should be forced to endure what the Martin family has endured," she wrote.

I don’t agree with her personal opinion that is based on emotion (how incarcerating GZ would make the Martin family ‘whole’ is another question). But, I DO respect her following the law and instructions as given to the jury. That is what she and the others swore to do and they did it. Too many jurors don’t follow the law and instructions.
“Not guilty, but a really bad person.” LOL Touche!
I haven’t read the whole thread but I believe she is a animal rescue type person.
the error in judgement was to get out of his vehicle and wander near this murderous thug......he came close to being killed instead of killing the thug. no error was made when he did pull the trigger, he was indeed protecting himself. I have no problem with a dead thug, just would have been nice if no one died.
I understand. I think I disagree on the error part.
Anyway, he killed the thug and I truly believe by doing so George protected many innocent people from what the thug would inflict on innocent people-—Who knows how many burglaries will not be committed now? Robberies? Vicious assaults? Rapes and eventually (I truly believe) murders?
Cheers.
Yes, Trayvon was a menace to society, but George will suffer the rest of his life for that night. Not fair at all.
