Bernhard Goetz, who shot four black youths he believed were trying to mug him on a New York City subway in 1984, believes the prosecution of George Zimmerman was politically motivated, fraudulent, and warrants a special investigation.
"Its all baloney. This is a political prosecution," Goetz told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.
America has many problems but this is a political prosecution just like my case was a political prosecution . . . If the public wants to be lied to and misled then they should just accept this."
Goetz, dubbed the "subway vigilante" in an incident that made headlines around the world, was acquitted of attempted murder, assault ,and reckless endangerment, but convicted of illegal possession of a firearm and served two-thirds of a one-year sentence.
Some residents consider him as a hero for taking a stand against New Yorks mushrooming crime rate, while others thought of him as a ruthless vigilante whose act had racial overtones not unlike the Zimmerman case.
Goetz, an electronics salesman, believes the prosecutors who tried Zimmerman are guilty of misconduct.

Prosecution-—persecution, in this case there is little difference.
I clearly remember that case and I thought him to be a hero who would no longer take crap from the thugs. I was and still glad he shot them. Wish he had killed them all.
If racial unrest follows Zimmerman jury decision, blame it on Activist Obama

This is reference to an editorial run in Canada Free Press. The Canadians got it right.! Too bad half of the so called conservatives talk show hosts Ive been listening to cant seem to be willing to connect the dots to what a heavy hand his imperious highness played in this example of socialist justice meted out to serve the policies of the state . Turning this into a show trial replete with wall to wall tv coverage.
.For certain since the not guilty verdict has been rendered the facts of this case are still being concealed by the media such as not using pictures of both side by side because they look like cousins. The mixed area of modest dwellings that Zimmerman was a “watch captain” in.is a mini US melting pot which includes a number of black familys . All were struggling with single and groups of young blacks on the prowl., In some instances armed, preying on homeowners.in his area. and usually such neighborhood watch areas are posted as such..That area wasn’t even examinined because it wouldn’t fit their agenda if true journalisim existed, because it couldn’t support any racial assertion..It might even explain Zimmerman’s action taken during his surveilance of Martin . In many watch areas that’s done frequently when the subject disappears from view they may leave their vehicle and continue surveilance on foot.. ....
Even after learning the shooter was a staunch Obama supporter, not Jewish, and a very dark skinned “hispanic” Obama did nothing to curtail the hyperbole or tone down his edict creating this as a racist episode.and of course ignored Zimmerman’s defence of a homeless black maltreated by a local police officer which resulted in the disciplining at Zimmermans insistance of the offending officer. The socialists controlling the media propaganda machine oblidged.. They began claiming the exclusive “gated” neighborhood watch captain was a white hispanic . used a picture of a 12 year old Martin instead of the 6 foot 165 pound person he was vs the smaller 140 pound lttle fatty neighborhood watch captain. Worse yet allowed his US Attorney General to use questionable activities to promote a show trial and ignored using a threat of prosecution to black militant groups threatening the watch captains life.
Meanwhile attacks by black groups on selected happless white victims which wind in their death get ignored by the mainline socialist messengers MSM service and black on black killings many of the age of the so called victim is likewise same-o same-o.
Do not confuse todays politicians and their ahearants in the press and academia as followers of “Liberalism”. . These are die hard God denying I’m right you’re wrong socialists incapable of independent thinking running todays media.. Devising political campaigns of lies and manipulated inflamatory languange disguised as “news or reliable information” designed to destroy any opponent or group to what is edict-ed by their leader. You must wind up goose-stepping in unison protecting the collective otherwise we will through the use of government step on you and squash you like some insect.. Until the quashers are quashed this will continue..
Sadly you understated the problem,... and the solution.
My philosophy about life and death is: We all die. Better the thugs, barbarians, and totalitarians die first so we can live our lives in peace and freedom until we eventually die.
Imagine Goetz and Zimmerman sitting around, drinking beers and comparing experiences.
He’s right — just like his was.
Goetz for Mayor!
Actually, shipmate, I think we was very clear on the problem. But like you, I don't see a "solution" to the MSM liberal bias. However, I believe MSNBC is going to die or be merged with NBC in the next couple years. CNN is not doing so well either with their liberal views, plus Wolf Blitzer is probably the most unwatchable anchor. ABC will follow them down the drain.
As I switched back and forth throughout the Zimmerman trial, it seem the only over air broadcast that was semi fair was CBS. Maybe they learned something from Rather's fraudulent Bush memo.
The social media and Fox News are telling it like it is. There is no stopping that. We may have some hope if the MSM want to survive. I've seen a little more balanced reporting at CNN, although they still pack their panels with mostly liberals.

The tab would be on me.
You are not alone.
Yup. There are many of us who used to be tolerant of gays; other races; welfare gimmes; science experts (who claimed the next ice age in the 70's); and most importantly politicians who have some legacy need to control our lives from cradle to grave. Sure I could itemize the list above and include other topics, but don't want to bore you with what you already know and it would take me weeks to do such.
The only solution I see is the historical one.
Maybe, but I just don't see it happening in this age. I believe there will eventually be sporadic violent resistance, but the Fedgov will come down with all its resources and suppress such Minutemen or militias, which are recognized and sanctioned by US Code.
I believe the only way back is through States' Rights. Get enough State governors to tell the Fedgov to shove their dictates, like Arkansas and others have regarding Obamacare health exchanges, and we may find a solution. As a founder of Veterans for Constitutional Restoration (VetsCor), I've always believed in the power of States' Rights. It just hasn't been exercised enough.
The only good thing to come out of Robert's lame ruling regarding Obamacare is it curtailed the power of the Fedgov to reduce payback to the States if they don't play along. That was a huge win for the States.
Unfortunately, the individual States want their money back from the Fedgov. Imagine if just one quarter of the States said we don't want Federal money and we are not going to send you tax dollars.
What would the Fedgov do? Yes, they go into close session and bribe some, but if not enough what could they do from there? Declare Civil War II? No one, and I mean no one in DC has the balls nor stomach for that in this day. I firmly believe that DC would back down, and that would be the beginning of the end of Fedgov largess.
I always thought the closing scene in that movie was one that qualified for the "worth a thousand words" label:
