I have always felt the two capitulated on the election in 2008. It is becoming clearer every day.

Every time I see McCain’s name in a headline I know that I’m about to get boned again.

McCain is another reason why the GOP is dying. It is time for Sarah Palin to lead the formation of a new party regardless of the short term cost. The GOP is never going to save the Republic.

McCain is another reason why the GOP is dying. It is time for Sarah Palin to lead the formation of a new party regardless of the short term cost. The GOP is never going to save the Republic. So you think we should follow a failed model (third party) rather than a politically successful model (liberals taking over the DNC from within)? No thanks.

Just what did the democrats on capitol hill do to mccain that his north Vietnamese captors couldn’t?
To: jdsteel
If the conservatives desired to take over from within, they can start by refusing to vote for moderates. Absolute refusal no matter what.
Priority #1 is to discipline the GOP if they put up moderates and put down conservatives. This means refusing to vote for them EVEN if it helps democrats in the short term.
But as history shows, 95% of all Freepers rolled over and voted for Mitt Romney in the last election. You have a lot of work ahead of you.

I think we need a second party. The ruling Democrat-Republicans have got to go.

I would have more respect for McCain if he switched parties.
I would have more respect for the people of AZ if they replace McCain.
I would like to have more respect for the government of the U.S. one day...
like I used to in a different time...
when I proudly served her.

... politically successful model (liberals taking over the DNC from within) Liberals have taken over the RNC from within, too. It's liberals taking over the "Two-Party Cartel" that is owned by the liberal-elites. 98% of our Congress is bought & paid for or compromised. Only a true revolution can changed this & that ain't gonna happen because the people are too lazy or naive & the Gestapo have too much power over the little guy. We are screwed.
