There is an aphorism to the effect that there is only a small difference between police and criminals, just as there is only a small difference between sheep dogs and wolves. It is that small difference, however, that distinguishes heroes from enemies of society. Sheep dogs and wolves are members of the same species, and both are physically and temperamentally capable of killing other animals. The key difference is, of course, that sheep dogs never harm the sheep they protect from the wolves. A police officer must, like the violent criminals he or she arrests, be similarly capable of handling a physical confrontation if he or she is to protect innocent people.

No civilized society can tolerate a sheep dog that turns on the sheep, or a police officer or prosecutor who uses his or her authority against innocent people for personal or political gain. (snip)

This is why proven rogue prosecutors like Mike Nifong (Duke Lacrosse), and alleged rogue prosecutors Scott Harshbarger (Amiraults), Janet Reno (Grant Snowden), and Florida State Attorney Angela Corey (George Zimmerman), are far more dangerous to society than all but the most vicious criminals.

I do hope for Justice in this case. Which would mean that Corey also gets Nifonged ... in the end.

Me too. On this earth and very soon. But if it doesn't happen under our increasingly corrupt judicial and political system, I take comfort in the knowledge that it will someday. Corey and her cohorts will face God Himself, and it won't be pretty.

We give law enforcement powerful means to enforce the law. Guns, night sticks, mace, tasers, handcuffs, and above all the power to deny liberty through incarceration.
When law enforcement uses these powers for personal or political gain, they need to be shamed.
The current administration has used the ‘justice’ department to let criminals go free and to persecute innocent people. It has interfered with states’ justice systems.
If they would just resign it would restore some of my sense of justice.

While the title is exactly as it is in the article, it possibly should read “Nifong Angela Corey.” She should be prosecuted and disbarred.

Corey, like all Narcissists, does not think she has done anything that she was not entitled to do. Ethics and what is right and wrong hardly enters into the way she makes her decisions. She will lie under oath. The only response is to punish her to the fullest extent of the law. Dershowitz recognizes this hence his fierce denunciation of her.

Where’s our side screaming about this? The left effectively uses bad names and real names to villify someone. This is extremely unfair to George, his family, his lawyers.

There may be multiple shoes, but more likely on the Zimmermans first. Zimmerman's wife will be tried for perjury, he may be brought up on civil rights violations.

I hope in the end, he sues for malicious prosecution and eventually owns NBC.

Hell, they know no shame. They need their bell rung!!! I believe that when they overstep their legal authority then they lose their immunity and are one on one with the people. Therefore if a rogue LEO came after me with weapon drawn, I should have the right to meet his force with equal force!!!
