She was on the phone talking trash to him about the "creepy-@$$ cracker rapist" following him and how if he was a real gangster he'd give the cracker a beatdown he'd never forget.
When Trayvon was killed because of her she went dark.
It wasn't until Benjamin Crump hunted her down and gave her a script to follow that she resurfaced.
Can’t agree.
Trayvon is dead because of what HE decided to do without regard to what anyone said to him.
No one made his fist fly into Zimmemran’s face but Trayvon.
No one made him mount Zimmerman and G&P him except Trayvon.
No one made him go for Zimmerman’s gun and threaten him but Trayvon.
Very possible. I wonder if NSA has the call recorded. It'd be really interesting to hear exactly what was said. And not just Jeantel's version of it.
In any event, the jury was able to conclude the evidence pointed to self defense even without knowing:

I think this is a very astute analysis. The whole thing is a tragedy but TM may have assumed Zimmerman was a pervert and decided to beat him up. Maybe seeing the gun, he still thought Zimmerman was a predator who was also armed.
Doesn’t excuse his behavior or make Zimmerman guilty, but it does explain things.
since Trayvons phone was off and in his pocket, and the police have an actual recording (and therefore the TIME) of the fight, can’t they matchup the time to see if he could have been on the phone with her DURING the altercation?
Since the phone was off and in his pocket, he must have done that BEFORE the fight started. So I dont think she heard anything.
Plus, no one says “get off me” in the recording from the police
And then the goes on Piers Morgan and says about the jurist “she old, we the future”
You were right. Just wait until she's appointed Czar of Stirring Up Carp.
I’d like to know where the story of her being a student at a university surfaced when her name first appeared in the “press”.
Riiiight.
After all, I do believe it was Arnold Schwarzeneggar who starred in Kindergarden Cracka.
