I've been saying all along that Rachel Jeantel is the reason Trayvon Martin is dead.

She was on the phone talking trash to him about the "creepy-@$$ cracker rapist" following him and how if he was a real gangster he'd give the cracker a beatdown he'd never forget.

When Trayvon was killed because of her she went dark.

It wasn't until Benjamin Crump hunted her down and gave her a script to follow that she resurfaced.

In any event, the jury was able to conclude the evidence pointed to self defense even without knowing:

• Travon's aggressive past
• about the phone text messages talking about him fighting
• that the skittles and fruit cocktail was to make the drug "lean", known to cause aggression,

I think this is a very astute analysis. The whole thing is a tragedy but TM may have assumed Zimmerman was a pervert and decided to beat him up. Maybe seeing the gun, he still thought Zimmerman was a predator who was also armed.

Doesn’t excuse his behavior or make Zimmerman guilty, but it does explain things.

since Trayvons phone was off and in his pocket, and the police have an actual recording (and therefore the TIME) of the fight, can’t they matchup the time to see if he could have been on the phone with her DURING the altercation?

Since the phone was off and in his pocket, he must have done that BEFORE the fight started. So I dont think she heard anything.

Plus, no one says “get off me” in the recording from the police

And then the goes on Piers Morgan and says about the jurist “she old, we the future”

When pressed by Morgan to explain the meaning of "cracker" she insisted it was spelled 'cracka' and was a pejorative for a policeman or security guard.
