I believe I remember this deal being reached in the past so that Reid could avoid using the nuclear option.
Basically the deal is.. Reid won’t use the nuclear option as long as the Republicans go along with every nominee.
Any time we see the headline “McCain and Reid Reach Deal....” it’s a sure bet the public is getting screwed

Last time I checked, Mc Cain did not hold any leadership position in the Republican Caucus. So, why is he announcing deals between the Majority and Minority?
The only thing the GOP can be counted on to do is stab America in the back and then show the bloody knife to the democrats to try and curry favor.
