It was a bad day for one husband and father, who was killed by his wife after he came home from jail.
The Tennessee man was shot and killed by his wife on Saturday only 15 minutes after getting out of jail.
Wasn’t this a country song?
Some of my ESL students and speak and write better than this so-called “journalist”.
Yes, it was: "My truck broke and she kilt me"
People forget that most police work is reactive in nature in that a crime occurs, someone phones it in, then they respond. It is rare when they see the actual crime and prevent it any further.
‘I Been Missin’ You, Babe (But My Aims Improved)’
The Boy Scouts' Motto: "Be Prepared" has never been more relevant (or reverent - YMMV).
‘I Flushed You From The Toilets Of My Heart’
It gets better
“... stated that her husband, Robert Marshall was at the residence attending to get inside.”
I’m wondering if some of this isn’t the automatic words put in by ‘smart computers.’ I once got a text message from a friend suggesting we go to [a] ‘villa’ when what she thought she typed was ‘coffee.’
‘If The Phone Don’t Ring, You’ll Know It’s Me’
You should check out www.damnyouautocorrect.com sometime. You wouldn’t think “Chamomile Tea” could turn into “Cameltoe Tea,” but it does.
Looks like he chased her into the bedroom. She showed alot of restraint before pulling the trigger.
What?
Actually, yes... Gunpowder and Lead, by Miranda Lambert:
County Road 233 under my feet
Nothin’ on this white rock but little ol’ me
I got two miles till he makes bail
And if I’m right we’re headed straight for hell
I’m goin’ home, gonna load my shotgun
Wait by the door and light a cigarette
He wants a fight well now he’s got one
He ain’t seen me crazy yet
Slapped my face and he shook me like a rag doll
Don’t that sound like a real man
I’m gonna show him what a little girl’s made of
Gun powder and lead
Well it’s half past ten
Another six pack in
I can feel the rumble like the cold black wind
He pulls in the drive
Gravel flies
He don’t know what’s waitin’ here this time
Hey I’m goin’ home, gonna load my shotgun
Wait by the door and light a cigarette
He wants a fight well now he’s got one
And he ain’t seen me crazy yet
Slapped my face and he shook me like a rag doll
Don’t that sound like a real man
I’m gonna show him what a little girl’s made of
Gun powder and lead
His fist is big but my gun’s bigger
He’ll find out when I pull the trigger
I’m goin’ home, gonna load my shotgun
Wait by the door and light a cigarette
He wants a fight well now he’s got one
And he ain’t seen me crazy yet
Slapped my face and he shook me like a rag doll
Don’t that sound like a real man
I’m gonna show him what a little girl’s made of
Gun powder and gun powder and lead
Gun powder and lead

I was making a funny about your sentence. Re-read it. I couldn’t help but get to tickled considering the content.
I bet she will use the “he needed killin” defence.
