When I drove by, 500+ people shortly after lunch just milling about.....while I go back to work another 4 hours to pay for their benefits:

When I drove by, it looked more like this: Cop at intersection said that the unruly crowd heard via Twitter that the victim was 12-years old (no skittles mentioned).....Victim was the cop that had to shoot a 30 yo on parole in a stolen vehicle.

Yeah, the traffic stop was "routine" until the black thief decided to run for it.
Sucks for him.

An incident similar to this occurred about 10 years ago in Cincinnati. A white cop chasing a black male thru a maze of alleys in the downtown area in the dark of night, the suspect runs into a dead end alley, turns and appears to point a weapon at the officer. Officer shoots and kills the suspect. Turns out no weapon was found. The dead suspect has a extensive criminal record ... no matter, nearly a week of rioting ensued.

Doesn't sound like the dead guy was a thief - owner of the car showed up and said he was her husband. Just out of jail and driving without a license. Of course, more information will probably become available as this situation develops.
A spokesperson with the NAACP at one point used a police cruiser's loudspeaker system to ask the crowd to at least send any children or teens home so that if the situation escalates they will be safe. He also told the crowd that a vigil being held tonight at the State Capitol at 8:30 in honor of Trayvon Martin would be a better venue to show their frustrations with this incident.
Not a bad tactic to ask people to send the kids away, not just because it helps protect them but also helps defuse the situation. However if people want to take bets on what happens a the State Capitol tonight, have at it ...

Deon Lamar Williams, 26

Williams was convicted on the drugs charges as an habitual offender.
Some members of the crowd started yelling profanities at police. Dozens of officers have responded to keep the situation under control. They also established a staging area around two miles away for fast response should extra police presence become necessary.

The popo who killed him was a black female. She will get a pass. I’m watching channel 7 now and someone said he was a great father.

Ahhhhhhh.....Little Rock. I used to go there for business. I was sitting in the breakfast area of the motel one morning watching the local news with other guests. There had been six murders the previous night. One of the victims was a young woman working for Sears at a tent sale in the parking lot. She was hacked to death with a lawn mower blade. All of us in that breakfast room looked at each other and shook our heads.

Here ya go....
24/7 coverage to begin soon, as EVERY Black witness will testify that it was cold-blooded murder, even though the victim was a parolee, probably had an Arrest Record a mile long, that of course is NOT admissible in Court (we don't want the Jury to know what kind of Character the perp was)....bullshit.
