Ted Nugent blames Trayvon Martin for shooting in George Zimmerman case

Full title: Ted Nugent blames Trayvon Martin for shooting in George Zimmerman case, calling late teen 'a dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe'

Controversial rocker says Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the Black Panthers, President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder made case about race when it's 'clear-cut self-defense.'

Ted Nugent wasted no time in providing ammunition to further stoke tensions over the George Zimmerman case.

The conservative rocker and NRA board member took aim at the controversy surrounding a Florida jury’s not guilty verdict in the shooting death of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin -- calling the teen victim a “dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe.”

In a column for the right-leaning site Rare, Nugent wrote the prosecutors were pressured into bringing a trial when it was obvious “cut and dried self-defense.”

“The race-baiting industry saw an opportunity to further the racist careers of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the Black Panthers, President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, et al, who then swept down on the Florida community refusing to admit that the 17-year-old dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe Trayvon Martin was at all responsible for his bad decisions and standard modus operendi of always taking the violent route,” wrote Nugent.

“Trayvon had no reason not to attack, because it was the standard thug thing to do. See Chicago any day of the week.”

As tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and several other cities to protest the verdict, Nugent later told Newsmax that Martin was solely at fault for escalating the confrontation that ultimately led to his own death.

The “Cat Scratch Fever” guitarist — a polarizing figure who called for arming teachers after the Sandy Hook massacre and is reportedly considering a bid for the White House in 2016 — called for the disbarment of the entire prosecution team for bringing the Zimmerman case to trial.

“Smart and honest America rejoices that the jury got it right,” Nugent said. “This was the purest case of self-defense you could have ever asked for.”

Zimmerman Reenactment.mpeg

There is the whole thing in 12 minutes. All of it fully corroborated by eyewitness testimony and the forensic evidence.

\My only hesitation on this point of view is...didn’t the cops tell GZ to stay in the car? Not to engage in any way?

NO.

But those that still swallow anything the MSM prints - rather than do some research - regurgitate the crap -

You post: “You do not know that for sure. That is just what GZ said happened.”
Maybe he just thought he was attacked and his nose broken and was having his head bashed repeatedly on the concrete too?

Yeah. He was the only one left alive. Who says he was being beaten by a 6’2” 175lb muscled football player with drugs in his system? After all, the poor little black boy can’t tell us what happened.

You might want to look at the photos that the media and the lying prosecutors didn’t want anyone to see...scroll down (Or you can continue to just swallow the MSM bilge,be sure not to miss “Idol” or “Dancing”, like most of the brain dazed Sheeple)

That is just what GZ said happened.

And what other evidence, including the testimony of Ms. Jeantel, Mr. Guy, and a lot of forensic evidence showed.

Even without any statement by Mr. Zimmerman, it is plainly evident from the aerial photographs of the development, the recorded phone calls, and other testimony that Mr. Martin could have been safely inside his house before the two of them came into contact with each other.

The state did not put on any evidence to suggest that Mr. Zimmerman's injuries were not caused by Mr. Martin's assault on Mr. Zimmerman. They attempted to minimize the severity of the injuries, but even without Mr. Zimmerman's statements it was uncontested that Mr. Martin struck and injured Mr. Zimmerman. The State even conceded, and eye witness testimony and forensic evidence showed that Mr. Martin had mounted Mr. Zimmerman and was battering him.

So it isn't "just what GZ said happened," it is what happened, as established by testimony, forensic evidence, and a lengthy investigation by the State.

It is irresponsible to say otherwise, as many people are doing, including politicians who should know better. And yes, it is a very good lesson for every young person that when someone is watching, or even following you, violently assaulting them is not only illegal, but a bad idea too.

http://legalinsurrection.com/ has in depth coverage of the testimony of every witness, just look back over the daily coverage of the trial.

The foundational tenant of US Justice is the presumption of innocence. Zimmerman was innocent when the trial began. He was found not guilty so his innocence was confirmed by due process.

No.

Do some research. This foolishness has been discredited about a billion times.

Because Freepers expect Freepers don't just swallow the MSM/lib racist claptrap without doing a little independent research. And in this case, when you're still spouting their lies, you're helping to spread them.

NOT what Freepers are about - or at least used to be.

So we're frustrated - we expect better than comments that sound like they are from DU - got it?
