At least the spokeswoman wasn't named Man Lee Ho.
I think we need a nickname for that government gal who talks soooo sloowwwly.
Maybe Slo Go Ho or something like that.
They hired that woman lawyer Sui Me Now.
Since their in San Francisco, maybe at lunch they can try the soup, Cream of Sum Yung Gai.
HA! That’s freakin priceless, typical media regurgitating what they hear without analyzing it. Serves em right.

The announcement was made by Asiana's chief legal officer, Mee Soo Yu.
“These allegations are Hugh and we take them very series.”

KTVU is a FOX affiliate. If the station contained any hint of
a conservative POV then do you think they might be linking
it to FoxNews? Likely.
Probably Asiana Airlines realized that playing the race card might divert attention away from the apparent ineptitude of their pilots, and the implication that their pilot training standards are insufficient. Of course all the broadcast shows is that TV stations can fall for crude pranks. The TV station's actions don't reflect on Asiana at all, but certainly show that the TV station's staff is clueless.
Overall it seems like a foolish tactic for the airline, it simply highlights the real issue which is how could commercial pilots botch a day VFR landing in nearly perfect weather so badly.
Evidently Asiana doesn’t understand the “Rule of Holes,” which postulates that when you are already in a hole, stop digging. The truth is that the Korean airlines (both of them) appear to have serious deficiencies in their pilot training and qualification. Better hope they make a buck on KTVU because they are going to need the money to pay off on the passenger suits against them. My bet is that at the end of the day, Asiana will go out of business. I know that I wouldn’t fly on either of therm.
I hear the TV station is in negotiations with the airline’s representative, Yu Pei Mi.
Wui fry prane in tu glound. Wui outlaged ovel joke. Ho ree doubre fuk.
My favorite part of the report:
The National Transportation Safety Board has apologized, saying a summer intern erroneously confirmed the names of the flight crew....Neither the station nor the NTSB commented on where the names originated.

She read it from the teleprompter and never missed a beat. Obama would have done the same.
They are suing because of mistakes in names of piolots, and this after their pilot error caused 3 deaths???
