Thousands took to streets across the US on Sunday, as protests against the acquittal of George Zimmerman entered their second day. Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch volunteer, shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in 2012.

The Justice Department said Sunday that it will restart its investigation into last years killing to consider possible separate hate crime charges against George Zimmerman. The news follows huge public outcry and calls from civil rights leaders to reopen the inquiry.
"Experienced federal prosecutors will determine whether the evidence reveals a prosecutable violation of any of the limited federal criminal civil rights statutes within our jurisdiction...and whether federal prosecution is appropriate in accordance with the department's policy governing successive federal prosecution following a state trial, a Justice Department spokesman said in a Sunday statement.

The fed’s and welfare bums are pushing this nation to the brink...
One of the characteristics of totalitarian regimes are these sorts of trials to bring the mob anger to a white hot temperature.

It’s very easy to manipulate public opinion this way and they’re basically the hand the magician wants you to look at while the real trick is being done with the other hand.
Doesn’t a local sherriff trump a fed ... in the sherriffs district?
Thousands. Six here, five there, nine elsewhere, a dozen next city over. I guess it adds up, eventually!
Revelations that the DOJ spent taxpayer dollars to encourage protests before his trial will only complicate these efforts, I think. High likelihood that the DOJ is now wrapped up in too many conflicts of interest to continue.
Also a real danger to the Democrat Party of opening up that Black vs. Hispanic fissure that looms in their future.
I hear Beleize (sp?) is a good destination...once he gets his settlement for malicious prosecution.
You bring up a fundamental issue, that of self-defense. But this incident is pushing into another arena, the issue of an environment of hostility to our way of life. Eventually, self-defense at your doorstep will not be sufficient. Eventually, we WILL be forced to take it to the enemy - offensively, on their turf.
I am beginning to open my eyes and realize that Holder is black. And who would have thought King Obama is black. And who is pushing racists crap?
DOJ is trying to distract We The People from it’s dirty laundry and the scandals, e.g., Benghazi, IRS, voter fraud, EPA, DeathCare, NSA, King and Queen vacationing on taxpayers money, and the list goes on. It’s all a distraction away from the real scandals in this Regime.
What is DOJ talking about they have been in control of this case from day one!
Is the DOJ going to continue calling GZ white? Some brown skinned people might consider that an insult.
Yup. And they have that big warehouse (as Snowden tells us) filled up with copies of all our emails and phone calls they can check out after the fact. This administration is big on “getting the goods” on the opposition so they can blackmail them into compliance...Congress being a good example.
It is the Departmentz of Justus who is committing the hate crime in this case.
If anyone should file a “civil rights case” it’s Zimmerman against the DOJ and their boss, the misleading media and of course large numbers of hate filled people who have posted on the net.
I'm sure he'll let George know, he's jus kiddin.
I'm reminded of the 21ft rule if he has a club, knife, other weapon. I only have 1.5 seconds to stop an attack.
: )
Since in my view, the Constitutional Republic of the United States of America died of self inflicted vote wounds, Until the Republic is restored, I will in all future references use the term obamaville.
Lynching, re-instituted and approved by thge obama/holder DOJ. A “fair” trial then a hanging regardless of the trials verdict.
