The bruises are receding, albeit slowly. I haven't had a chance to view the tomatoes over the past week - Daniel has been taking care of them for me. We should be picking fruit soon - we have a couple of fruits on the way but not quite there yet.

Mrs. Mac Nessa and I were on the road most of the day today - Daniel made tacos for dinner - they came out quite well!

Back to the salt mines in a few hours!

I just realized that both TR and his Son TR Jr. both were awarded the medal of honor.

I think TR didn’t get it until fairly recently but having read of his leadership in the charge up San Juan Hill, he deserved. it.

His Son TR jr. was the only General to die on D-Day. TR also lost a son, Quentin during WWI. He was a pilot. I believe he had just shot down a German plane when he was killed.
