Ummm, no. “A jury has spoken” rather than “THE jury has spoken.” Hussein has instructed Holder to bring Zimmerman up on federal charges.
“A jury”. Exactly. Implying more than one to speak.
I am not sure about that. Obviously the comparison is to the Rodney King riots. The Bush administration was reacting to the riots, not the verdict itself, in bringing federal charges against the LA police. So far there have been no riots, and Obama has now put out a fairly conciliatory statement. Chances for federal charges are dropping by the hour.
That was the first thing I noticed also.
Why has no one called for black families to do a better job of raising their kids to respect the laws? This hoodlum, Trayvon Martin, was on his way to becoming an expensive charge to the citizens of Florida.
Instead of complaining that the jury didn’t punish someone from protecting himself from a wild man who thinks getting high and beating up on people is the ultimate goal in life, the self-described African-american, Barry the 0bama, who is half white (making him a white african by NYT standards), should be demanding that other self-described blacks raise their children better, and that parents stay together to provide a family for their children, and not just lessons in how to collect welfare.
“Ummm, no. A jury has spoken rather than THE jury has spoken. Hussein has instructed Holder to bring Zimmerman up on federal charges.”
I immediately noticed the very carefully crafted choice of words used as well.
EODGUY
I think the only thing DOJ and Holder can charge GZ with is a civil rights violation. Considering the racial slurs thrown by TM during the event, that will be touger to sell to a jury than even manslaughter.
Bingo. See my post #192. I caught the distinction as well.
Charges of what? Wouldnt that infringe on double jeopardy?
