Obama on Zimmerman verdict: 'A jury has spoken'

President Barack Obama urged Americans to keep calm in the wake of Saturday's jury verdict finding George Zimmerman not guilty of charges associated with the controversial shooting death of black teen Trayvon Martin.

"I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher," Obama said Sunday in a statement. "But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son."

Only the requests of two parents mattered in Obama’s statement. The Zimmerman parents don’t count in his world.

These jurors deserve much respect.

Apparently they still have that long since forgotten value of many Americans....called do the right thing even when there’s no money or fame in it, and actually the potential of getting a bad rap from a shameless worthless biased racist media and shill politicians.

I don't think most on here caught this, but he is implying that a single jury will not be the last word in this case. If he had used the word "The" instead of "A," it would have been a much more even-handed statement. He throws the race card every chance he gets and has been the single biggest divider this nation has ever seen.
