I promise you, it was a very real conversation. "Maybe we should get T-shirts and sweatshirts with the school's name on it," my partner said. After the verdict -- it came as a punch to the stomach -- we thought maybe it was best if he only ran inside at the nearby gym.

When you become 18, you no longer generate household income thru the state. You are no longer wanted at home, or in the workplace due to the dismal education forced upon you by the same state. Since you cannot pump out babies thru any lady parts, welfare is not your luxury. Child support however becomes your main worry along with joblessness, violence, healthcare, and hunger as constant back-ups. Drugs and alchohol may become your escape on occasion. With the above options you face, prison becomes more likely in your future.
