STATEMENT BY REV. AL SHARPTON ON GEORGE ZIMMERMAN BEING ACQUITTED OF ALL CHARGES IN THE SHOOTING OF TRAYVON MARTIN
Saturday, July 13, 2013 (New York, NY) “The acquittal of George Zimmerman is a slap in the face to the American people but it is only the first round in the pursuit of justice. We intend to ask the Department of Justice to move forward as they did in the Rodney King case and we will closely monitor the civil case against Mr. Zimmerman. I will convene an emergency call with preachers tonight to discuss next steps and I intend to head to Florida in the next few days."

George Zimmerman is a private citizen. O’Mara made it clear they are not about to abide civil suits.
As always, Sharpton is just hustling for attention and money.
I just watched Rev. al on PMSNBC after the verdict. He looks like he is 80+.
If GZ is brought up on civil rights charges, I may attend my first protest.
“Rev Al” is responsible for any and all violence that occurs after tonight. He’s a piece of sh**. Being from NY, I’ve known this for a long time.
If I were black, I would already be telling him to shut up, you don’t represent me.
Um, please speak for YOUR people. The acquittal is NOT a slap in the face for my people. So much for this government unifying the people under the principles of justice. The fact that these leaders saying these unGodly things and not being arrested is testament to the fact that we are indeed a divided nation.
You can choose to listen and understand or not. It doesn't matter anymore. Trayvon was not shot because he was black. He was shot because he attacked and tried to beat to death an armed man. It has NOTHING to do with color.

My bad. I learned civics before the age of political correctness. I do not think in terms of hate crimes. Murder is murder to me, regardless of color. GZ was found not guilty of 2nd degree murder. This will be very interesting case if it happens. I seem to recall something about double jeopardy. If the government brings another suit it will be the equivalent of double jeopardy.
I really hate liberals.
