Except Mikey, he (TM) wasn't defending himself. GZ had stopped following TM and was returning to his vehicle when TM circled around and initiated the attack. Forget that little detail, like you so conveniently forget other facts?

Apparently TM had told his sister he didn't like GZ. This implies TM knew GZ as the neighborhood watch guy. Wonder why he didn't like a neighborhood watch? Anyway, that leads me to believe it is highly likely TM knew or strongly suspected it was GZ following him. Yet he still attacked. TM got what he had coming.
