As we await the verdict in the trial of George Zimmerman, the Florida man who claims to have shot and killed teenager Trayvon Martin in self-defense, this seems the perfect time to reflect on the media's cynical and dishonest role in turning a local crime into a national obsession.

If I walk up to you and tell you NOT to think about elephants do you think I want to you to think about elephants or not?

If 50 stories appear in newspapers about ‘concern’ about riots what effect do you think that has? On the public? On potential rioters?

Do you think 'riot' stories were even appearing in traditional black newspapers? Or do you think it was an orchestrated tactical move?

I knew you would say that but if Democrats are all saying A and GOPJ is claiming that the Dems are really saying B which is the opposite of A then its an open and shut case that has nothing to do with if A or B itself is a lie.
Add the fact that GOPJ was himself pinging me claiming B was true, but now claims it was Dems saying this all along.
