“you can be committing no crime, just bringing some Skittles and iced tea home to your brother, and be killed”
Trayvon’s brother testified he was in Miami, and we all know what the iced tea and skittles is all about, so shove it, Al.
Actually, Trayvon had purchased Arizona watermelon drink -- not Arizona iced tea.
It's the watermelon flavor that's used to make "lean" or "purple drank".
Reverend Al knows this, so he intentionally refers to iced tea -- which is innocuous in this context. It's in their interest to be inaccurate.
And it's in our interest to be accurate. Watermelon. Not iced tea.
