I only know about the purple drank because of FR. I do remember it being watermelon now that you mention it - but I thought I read watermelon tea.

Anyway, I’ve told everyone I know about the recipe that he had posted on his fb page and told them not to buy the “innocent little Trayvon armed with nothing but skittles and iced tea” mantra.
