They call us the "tinfoil hat" crowd.
However, when the SHTF , they will be those who will be on your doorstep saying :' We never saw it comming' !!' Can you help us ? '
They worship false idols ( 'THINGS'): Money , power , gold, stocks ,cars, credit , electronics , expensive residences,etc.,etc.
But they lack 'spiritual soul',belief in God, and/or basic skills, manual skills , willingness to work , need for entitlements,

And your response should be "What do you bring with you, to sustain yourself and your family " ?
"I cannot afford parasites ~ For what have you prepared" ?
"How prepared and able to sustain yourself are you ?"
And you maintain your OPSEC !..and watch your six , because there will be 'trials and tribulations', and moral decisions to be made ..
