Florida man robs gas station after filling out job application with all his personal information

A man, who was low on money, decided to apply for a job.
Instead of waiting to be hired, work and get paid, the man robbed the place.
Florida Police said that Anthony Thomas, 33, filled out a job application at a gas station in Ocala, Florida, immediately before robbing the place. He made off with $130.
Apparently, he included his real name, contact information and other personal information, in the application, which made it easy for police to track him down by using the information he provided before the robbery.

Unfortunately, if he was applying for a federal job, they would be contacting him in jail for an interview, then hold the job for him, accruing the pay he would have earned if he were not jailed..upon release, he would retire with full pension and benefits...and be eligble for hire for another government job...at the top of the list because you can’t discriminate against criminals.

Mr. Thomas did not rob anyone.
It was a simple larceny. He grabbed money from the till when the cashier wasn't looking. The stations video system recorded the incident.
