Judge was definitely smiling. Not good.
Now there is a 30 minute recess.
It could be that this clarification is for one or two jurors who are holding out for manslaughter versus not guilty. It doesn’t mean that the whole jury is seeking that clarification.
I think their question back was sound.
I am hoping the defense team is pulling case law to require reading of the “self defense instruction.” and “stand your ground” included in the pdf.
something to put doubt on the prosecution’s effort to lap. (and focus burden is properly and unfairly intentionally on the state)
