On Thursday, Public Policy Polling released its latest 2016 tracking poll of Iowa Republican voters. The results show a dramatic shift in Republican voter sentiment. Sen. Marco Rubio, who had led in previous surveys, has dropped to 5th place. Sen. Rand Paul now leads the pack in the critical first-caucus state.

LOL
Probably another case of that old trap, "who can win?" instead of "who is best?".
It's the same trap that got us 0baMao Terms 1 and 2.
Notice the demoncrats don't worry about winning any republican or conservative votes anymore. Yet they keep winning elections.
So GOP better stop trying to calculate "electability" and just go for the best conservative candidate.
But they won't. That's another reason GOP is going extinct.

Good news!

RUBIO DROPS TO 5TH IN IOWA POLL
Well.. imagine that... who’da thunk?
GTH RUBIO
PPP nailed ttne last election and the Iowa caucus. I was here criticizing their methodology just like you are doing now but the bottom line is that they turned out to be more accurate than both Rasmussen and Gallup.
Meaningless poll anyway... right now, it's all about recognizable names. Cruz' name will be a household term come primary time, if he chooses to run.
keep dropping
Rand Paul seems to be the next leading ‘self-destruct’ contender.
We’ll see.
The polling was corrupt just as was the election. You’re free to think anything of it, of course, but knowing what I know about polling, I don’t trust any of them.
If I remember correctly, Nikki Haley was a Chris Christie supporter.
Only if one considers Paul Ryan to have already done so. If not, Ryan is definitely a contender.
I’m surprised Rubio is as high as 5th place in the poll.
I’m done with Rubio and I’m done with Ryan.
Rand Paul is disappointing lately as well.
Lots of people were before he revealed his stripes. Even Ann was.

Absolutely !
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Santa Anna had more votes!
Iowa is native habitat for the RINO.
That said, the Iowa caucus system means voter have to show up for a few hours and pay a little attention instead of spending one minute with a ballot.
in 2012, Santorum and Romney finished with 25%, and Paul finished with 21%. Because Santorum and Romney supporters didn’t follow through, Paul ended up with the lion’s share of convention delegates.
Here’s PPP’s prediction for the 2012 Iowa Caucuses:
