Day 24 (Week #5) Zimmerman Trial – Final Day – Probably a Verdict before dinner [No, Jury Adjourned]

Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.

Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).

Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

Pros shot themselves in foot by not allowing this in testimony. They left themselves with no time to construct a reasonable rebuttal. And with MOM’s preemption, anything they say will look all that much more desperate.

Bill Sheaffer: At The Bar; that is the beauty of this trial. Different opinions on what people saw/heard. Similar to this case. And oh by the way, the State messed up by putting his statements into evidence-- which kept him from the stand. That was their biggest mistake and I'm sure they now feel that way too.
