Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.

Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

If the verdict comes in quickly, then it will probably be a conviction.
I think that if they were going to acquit, they would want it to appear that they were arguing and agonizing over it a great deal. For many, many days.

Here’s to hoping today ends with a full acquittal. Uncle Chip and others, I really appreciate you folks keeping us office-bound folks up to date.
Hubby and I have to go into town today, and I’m dreading it. I hope we make it home before the riots. If I could postpone his doctor appointment, I would, but this one is urgent. Still, I hope the jury returns its not guilty verdict right away.

Though we may be “like minded” we are still individuals with unique insights and perceptions. Mutual respect should be shown in the way we react to each other.
A certain amount of “rough and tumble” (and off topic frivolity) goes with the territory. But, there needs to be a limit, especially on the live threads. After all, isn’t self-restraint a virtue that conservatism promotes?
