Tea Party groups and environmentalists plan to rally in support of a proposal that goes before the state Public Service Commission later today that would force Georgia Power to use more solar energy long-term.

The proposal by Commissioner Lauren “Bubba” McDonald would force the utility to include solar energy as part of its 2013 Integrated Resource Plan.

Cause we want them to use Eminent Domain to take the Carter peanut farm and cover it with acres of solar panels?

The Atlanta Tea Party Patriots sees it as away to expand the state’s alternative energy resources.

If they were real patriots, they'd expand their own alternative energy resources and not use government to force someone else to do it. Sounds like some libs stole the Tea Party name.

Atlanta Tea Party groups

they must be linked to the Massachusettes psuedo-Tparty patriots that gave us Scott Brown and the unthinking Florida Tparty patriots that ignored the Soros camp inside the Rubio team

It wasn’t just the Atlanta Tea Party, though they were the leaders. They had leaders of Tea Party groups from across the state there to support.

“Atlanta Tea Party groups

Just doin’ what commies do - a famous Communist said “if there is opposition, we must control the opposition”.

I was on the board of a 912 and a TEA Party group in Miami, FL. While I liked the people, I had doubts about allowing leadership positions to be held by union members (teachers and police) because they would have to work against their own income source if government was successfully reduced to Constitution defined parameters.

Likewise, I had doubts about allowing people holding government agency positions to hold 912 or TEA Party positions because of the obvious conflict of interest.

Rubio is proof that I was correct in my concern about allowing those working in unionized or government jobs. The 912 and the South Florida Conservatives (local TEA Party) worked for Rubio.

Both groups have people in leadership slots who have the conflicts of interest I mentioned above. Whether Rubio took advantage, whether a deal was cut - nothing matters except the following:
1. Culture is determinative.
2. American culture was defined in the Founding Documents.
3. Those from elsewhere can not improve it with their “culture” - witness the degraded, depraved cultures from which they came.
3. Rubio is “Hispandering”, despite the Constitution.

We were lied to.

Live with it.

Learn from it.

IMHO, there are enough Americans who still understand those Founding Documents that Conservatives like rank and file 912/TEA Party members can find and elect people who will keep government within the bounds established by the Constitution.

I think it unwise and egregiously unfair to elect a person to a 912/TEA Party position when that person’s job is going to be cut if government is reduced.

If we do not learn from the above, then the nightmare defined by the historian Paul Johnson occurs - “If the American experiment in self government fails, that which will come after will be unspeakably worse”.

“Unspeakable” has infiltrated America’s schools, agencies, and has been widely elected to public office.

President Unspeakably Worse defiles the White Mosque as I type.

Pray for the Republic - and do not allow union persons, AgencyPersons, or any socialism infected person, in any position or office.
