And the "news" media is doing its best to keep this fact in the background. That's why I always put the word "news" in parentheses when referring to the media. They don't report news, they regurgitate DNC talking points.

It long ago got to the point that I couldn’t admit that I have a journalism degree...especially when I emailed the Ethics in Journalism Professor at my alma mater a question concerning today’s journalism ethics...three times because he would never respond.
Yep, and there's another penalty no one seems to be talking about. Companies are hit with an additional tax when an employee or one of the employee's dependents elects to receive a subsidy. Because the individual mandate hasn't been waived, and because the feds have said they won't be verifying eligibility for subsidies during the first year, there are a lot of employers that are going to get hit with that additional tax. This is planned chaos in my opinion.
