As a certified (-able) mechanic motorhead and the owner of several maintained-in-my-garage MBs over the decades, I can categorically tell you, that hitting a phone pole head-on at even 100mph is not going to toss any MB engine 200 yards behind the vehicle. If it's true, something else is not true.
