Whew, back to a Sunday race.
Got fumes?
OH man.. feast or famine here.. Go Smoke!
Vickers Wins!! Smoke runs out of gas ..
I hope I made a 100 points. >:<
My driver won! Woot! Congratulations, Vickers! woooohooooo!!!
/happy dance!
Ha,Ha!
My score was so bad today that even Norm R beat me!!!
I had chain saw duty during the yellow flags today. I am sure Norm had to take time away from NASCAR last week. Setting up a gender choice conscious pool party must take lots of time and disenfectants.
I had Vickers, too! One of my better week performances!
The frenzy of activity here is starting to diminish. House will go on the market today & the two ladies are doing well in the retirement home.
Some good news for you - you got 186 points, 20 points more than I did. Last time I let you pick my drivers.
Ditto on my neighbor and his property. It’s 2 large parcels and I fear a subdivision on them...
There is not a SprintCup race this weekend. But if you are looking for racing, Nationwide is running the STP 300 at the Chicagoland Speedway, Sunday at 3pm on ESPN.
boogity?
Seek help while you can afford it...
I think NASCAR scheduled the date off for my wife’s birthday. There is also the annual “Tour of Homes” and “Balloons over Bend” events this weekend. Temps to hit low 90’s but it is cooling off to the mid-40’s at night. Less than a month and a half until football starts. How weird is that??
They knew I needed a break too. Work has been long the last two weeks. Last night was the first good, solid night of sleep I have had this week.
And I was just thinking to myself last night that summer in CO has been glorious this year. We aren’t getting as cool as you at night here, mtnman, might be. But we have the afternoon moisture flow going on. This might be one of the more normal July’s in CO I have experienced in your 11 years here. I even have peas producing in the garden.
And the kiddo got our over the air antenna going, so I can watch football. And Nascar when it is on broadcast tv.
I heard this morning that a bolt of lightening injured 9 people on a farm in Colorado yesterday. Lightening is rare in Benderville but morning fog is in good supply...
That is true, saying 2 are in critical condition. NE of Fort Collins.
Haven’t seen a cloud or in days. We never have fog at 4000’. Currently 92 degrees with 14% humidity. I’ve never seen it that low before. Mrs. Happydog has 4 days off; she’s losing PTO cause she hasn’t been able to take time off. Think we might float the Deschutes River on our large rubber ducky.
I drove past the Bandamere Speedway coming back from Colorado Springs on Friday. It is NHRA weekend and the place looked packed to capacity on Friday.
I went to a couple of NHRA drags at Sears Point also a couple Nascar events there. It’s about 250 miles south of Benderville as the Drone flies...
