It was sickening. Yes, the Judge has the right to inquire...but not before the defense is over and NOT LIKE THAT

As prescribed by Saul Alinsky (Rule #13) "identify, isolate, escalate [i.e. attack]". In this case, she isolated the defense from their own client and attacked.

The "judge" simply wants to give the prosecution the opportunity to badger the defendant while overruling any objections from the defense. It would be their Hail Mary and the defense knocked it down. The prosecution will say "silence = guilt" tomorrow which is weaker than "defendant admitted XYZ" (when he actually did not)
I don’t know what is going on with titles and articles concerning Zimmerman courtroom videos. Regarding ttitlese, maybe it is journalistic practice to keep titles as short as possible. And if such is the case, then the title in this example was possibly shortened to the extent that it sent the wrong message.
Regardless of the title, what I saw in video is the following. Although Zimmerman’s lawyers were possibly correct in objecting to the questions that the judge was asking Zimmerman, the judge remained courteous to Zimmerman, imo, while being belligerent to his lawyers.
An appeal on this one is guaranteed if Z is found guilty. This judge is so biased she should be tossed off the bench headfirst.

miserable wretch...There is a significant possibility that if Zimmerman walks on this charge, the Fed Gov will indict him on violating Martin’s rights. The USSC has ruled that there is an exception to the Double Jeopardy clause in A5. The DOJ has a policy about when it will attempt to prosecution that has already been decided at the State level; it is known as the Petite policy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_Jeopardy_Clause. It is possible the judge/defendant is aware of this issue and is trying to avoid a retrial at the federal level. By constantly going out of her way in favor of the prosecution, if the jury returns a not guilty verdict, the DOJ has a harder time pushing a second prosecution. If Zimmerman is declared guilty, he has an easier time appealing the judges decisions and establishing that the trial was unfair.
That this would be attempted in the US is embarrassing.
My rule is to never vote for female judges. The courts are too feminized as it is.
Sounds like the “judge” is hoping for one more shot to hang Zimmerman... I’m getting the idea she knows the prosecution is failing and is under pressure to get a win for the team.
She probably knows that the jury is going to acquit him so she was hoping he would take the stand and somehow blow it and save the prosecution.

I have been watching the Zimmerman show. Chris Farley is playing a female judge. I thought this had to be made years ago before he died. It is a REAL trial? Really!???
