Hope the jury comes back within 10 minutes. 15 max.
Let the looting begin.

What kind of joke did Zimmerman’s stupid attorney rest with?
To: Sopater
The judge got in one last lick asking if George Z was going to testify. The judgE is out of order on this item and this shows the prejudice of the judge.

Can someone tell me why some trials move this quickly, while other trials take years?

This case is so open and shut if this jury has an IQ above 10 they should be back with a Not Guilty verdict in 5 minutes..if they are borderline stupid it will take them longer but this should have never been brought to trial..race baiters like the DOJ and Jackson and Sharpton wanted it

He should have taken the stand, I think he made a big mistake in not doing so.

I suspect he will be found guilty but this will be an appeal. The judge made some seriously bad calls.

They need to wrap this up before the NAACP can finish busing their rent-a-mobs to Orlando for the convention next week.

Prosecution has a couple of witnesses to rebut testimony from defense before this is over. It may all be over shortly.

The fix is in. The judge asked GZ if he plans on testifying BEFORE the defense rested. That is unheard of as far as I know.
To: Sopater
Judge stated defense & state had copies of jury insructions and she didn’t. Who wrote these?

Perhpas there's a lawyer here who can give us an opinion on whether there are grounds for appeal in case of a guilty verdict.
My fear: The jury will convict on the lesser charge of manslaughter, unaware of the fact that in Florida manslaughter of a minor carries virtually the same sentence as second degree murder.

This Judge is showing a clear animus towards the defendant and displays her cowardice by not dismissing the charges. Any competent Judge would dismiss the case and excoriate the prosecution for wasting the taxpayers money on this trial. Who can say all doubt is dispelled and guilt has been established? What an absolute injustice this has been to Zimmerman.

It was never on the books for Z to testify. It is a very unusual thing for a murder-case defendant to so, and there was no need for it in the Z case. The defense had already done more than enough to win.

His defense lawyer was dead wrong in one of his statements.
GZ would be completely safe at my house if he needed to.
