Even if the House impeaches (charges) Obama, the Senate will refuse to even hear any evidence, much less convict him.

The Senate doesn't have the option of not trying the case and hearing the evidence. It's Constitutionally mandated that they do so. Voting to convict and remove, well, that's another story.

The Senate refused to hear evidence about Clinton’s perjury and subornation of perjury.
