It’s all about the money...concessions have to be made. That was evident the 2nd day when they said the MB was a “part” of the new government, that day that followed O’s remark that “we” would have to “reconsider” our promise of aid.

They stand to get a ton of money from us if they appease Obama, and Obama wants Egypt to have an Islamist government (he would prefer that we do as well, but that’s down the line a bit longer).
