Oday Aboushi has been touted as being the first Palestinian-American player in the National Football League (NFL), but his radical behavior since being drafted by the New York Jets less than three months ago could get him sent home early. His latest infraction was made as he gave a speech at a radical Muslim conference sponsored by a group denying Israels right to exist and associated with blatantly anti-Semitic and terrorist propaganda.
...
Only weeks after the draft, Aboushi tweeted the following: 65th anniversary of the Nakba and palestinians all across the world are still thriving. For persons unaware of the term Nakba, the statement might seem innocuous, but for those who care about Israel, the term is a very dangerous and provocative one. The Nakba or Catastrophe is a derogatory reference to Israels May 1948 founding as an independent Jewish state. It is used to spread enmity against Israel and to fuel terrorist attacks from groups like Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
Lest anyone believe this was an honest misunderstanding on Aboushis part, Aboushi solidified his extreme anti-Israelism late last month when he was a featured speaker at a conference run by an organization which denies Israels existence and associates with those involved in violence against her citizens.

Not only a hyphenated American, but one from a made-up country.
Hey, I’m a Narnian American! A Mordor American!
Until forty years ago, the word “Palestinian” meant “Jew.” Every history book knew that Palestine was the homeland of only one group, the Jews. Every Bible reader and every non-Bible reader, as well as the Muslims, knew this. The Muslims had Mecca and Medina. The Jews Jerusalem. The wool has been pulled over a lot of people’s eye. The phrase “Free Palestine,” had only one group in mind: the Jews. No one else was interested in going there. Once the Jews made the place bloom, the Muslims want’ to benefit from Jewish ingenuity and move there, too, from Islamic countries.
Good point......
That’s interesting.
Ping!
And yet, 70% of my fellow Jews voted for him. I can’t begin to tell you how aggravating it is.
Yes, it’s embarrassing, and rather puzzling, too.
You’d think that after World War II and all he Israeli struggles to establish itself and maintain its survival, America Jews would get the message. Clearly, they don’t.
Once again another example illustrating “peaceful Muslim” is an oxymoron.
Yeah. I can imagine. You get tarred with all of “them”.
Good thing we (or most of us) on FR know it ain’t always so...
How is that an irony? Liberal Jews are probably more into dhimmitude than liberal Christians.
The word “Palestinian” derives from “Philistine”, ultimately. No Jew ever took such a name to himself.
You = don’t have a clue
The Jet’s locker room has a cockroach.
Trying to become? I think they are already there. Maybe we should ask “Buttfumble” Sanchez.
Expanding criminal element, PSA’s for Obama’s failed health care, WWE style production, yeah, that’s real football alright. They’re committing career suicide right in front of us. We’ll see who has a clue.
