I hope they keep a close eye on the survivor and he gets lots of care, the guilt he is going to feel will be overwhelming.
He’s scheduled to read the “Hotshots Prayer” at the memorial service later this morning.

The best don’t get to stay here with us. We go on without them, missing them even if we didn’t know any of them personally. We get to stay here with the urban gangs and other types. It must be a beautiful place where they go. I hope I am worthy to see them later on.

Thank you for your thoughts. I have family in Prescott - its a tight-knit community of about 40,000 who lost 20 percent of their fire department in one horrific afternoon. The loss is overwhelming.
