EL UNIVERSAL Monday July 08, 2013 03:37 PM The White House warned on Monday that former CIA staff Edward Snowden may not be allowed to travel to any other country but the United States.
The statement came after the US citizen was recently offered asylum by Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Bolivia.
The US Government keeps in touch through relevant diplomatic channels with all countries Snowden could travel across or choose for his final destination, said White House's spokesperson Jay Carney, EFE reported.
Carney's statement has been the first official US reaction after Nicaragua, Bolivia, and Venezuela recently offered Snowden asylum.
Carney further explained there were sufficient legal arguments for Russia to expel Snowden to the United States, despite the lack of any extradition bilateral treaty.

To Drew H. What about a ship? Didn’t I hear way, way back in school about Aaron Burr (I think, was a long time ago), the man without a country. He lived the rest of his life on a ship because no country would give him entry. Couldn’t Snowden get on a ship headed to Cuba or Venezuela. As long as it stayed in international waters until it reached its destination, he should get safe passage???
No, Americans did not vote for a criminal to occupy the White House for 8 years. Parasites, jackboot lickers, and Obama disciples and worshipers did. Unfortunately, there are now more of those types in the U.S now than Americans.
Worshipers would be a better description.
I would go with ass licker over enforcer.
The fact that this is Carney-boy issuing the ‘warning” tells me that it’s all for shits and giggles. If this were a real warning it would be issued via back channels, I think.
And what’s the difference between PRISM and the Immersion Project and LinkedIn, which goes through each and every one of your email contacts (and probably emails, too) to look for ‘linkages’ between people.
You gotta read those “Terms and Conditions” before you join social networking websites. They are NO different than the federal government. You have ZERO privacy when you join them.
I do NOT belong to facebook, twitter, linkedin, my space, etc. for that very reason.
Keep in mind those social services do GIVE you a FREE membership to their services in return for the right to collect your data/info. If you don't want your data mined them DON'T join their service.
However, the fact that the NSA is collecting EVERYTHING WITHOUT ASKING me, you, or anyone else is a totally different situation and it's unconstituional.
The NSA is not doing anything other than snooping on everyone without authorization other than the power they have bestowed upon themselves to do it.
