Gang-Raping Your Way to Democracy (Mark Steyn)
National Review Online ^ | July 8, 2013 | Mark Steyn

Posted on 07/08/2013 12:51:15 PM PDT by neverdem

In my weekend column in Egypt, I mentioned this:

Are they suddenly Swedish-style social democrats? Human Rights Watch reports that almost 100 women were subjected to violent sexual assault over four days in Tahrir Square, which suggests not.

As in the Congolese civil war, where both sides agreed that pygmies made excellent appetizers, in the Egyptian political stand-off, the young men of both pro- and anti-Morsi forces agree on little else except that the chicks are fair game. This ugly aspect has gone strikingly under-reported in America for over two years, ever since CBS chose to downplay the rape of its own correspondent. So I’m very glad NPR chose to do a story on this grim subject, “Sexual Assaults Reportedly Rampant During Egypt Protests.” To put it in the terms famously formulated by Whoopi Goldberg, this isn’t rape-rape but rape-rape-rape:

The rights group says the latest attacks follow an all too familiar pattern since mass protests began in 2011: A few men force a girl or woman away from the people she’s with; rip off her clothes and assault her. Passersby join in the attacks, which range from groping to gang rapes that can last more than an hour...

Yup. The people with a fantasy of a secular Egypt are lying to themselves. The country is still 90% muslim animal.

I don’t know if these things would happen in other Mideast Islamic countries, but it might be a sign of a country that doesn’t deserve to stand with civilized countries. If the mindset of the average Egyptian male is that he gets to rape any women who is walking around, then they don’t deserve to be considered civilized. And what does this say for Islam? I’ll bet all the males raping the women have been praying to Allah all their lives. I guess Allah condones sexual assault. What a great “god.”

Animals, reverting to type.

Maybe the women of Egypt need to start ordering "Pre-emptive Rape Prevention Kits" from the online store, AMAZONS.com.

These consist of a handkerchief, chloroform, box cutter and (courtesy of Bill Clinton) "a little ice to put on it".

Best employed by large groups of the website's namesakes.

Endorsed by Lorena Bobbit.

More expensive than Smith & Wesson and Ruger models, but less effective, too, I've heard.

Gang rape is actually a perfect example of why democracy and tyranny are not mutually exclusive.

A gang rape is just the majority of decision makers getting their way, right.

Let’s not forget that 91% of the women in Egypt have had a clitorectomy, so the rape is even more painful.

You bring up an interesting point: HIV is rampant in “cultures” that perform female genital mutilation because the men prefer anal sex - much easier than going thru all that scar tissue. The husbands have “normal” sex with their wives for the purpose of procreation. We won’t talk about what they do to their little boys.

One wonders whether part of the U.S. Government is working through the Egyptian military, encouraging them to oppose Morsi, the Brotherhood, and the other part of the U.S. Government led by Obama.

Think about that for a bit, and about the death of Bin Laden, and let it sink in.

That's a repellent enough number. But I think the word is "clitoridectomy". The Greek would be kleitoris or klitoris in the nominative case, and the case used for compounding would be the genitive (possessive) case, which is klitoridos, hence "clitorid-ec-tomy".

We now return you to our regular program already in progress.

What’s odd is this kind of thing - crowd rape - is that it doesn’t happen any where else. Doesn’t happen at football games, or 4th of July parades or Chinese crowds in Ttiananmen Square... No where. It’s so pathetic... These folks need to get a better religion... for starters.

In South Africa they sell rape prevention kits that consist of a device that is worn internally by the woman, and permits penile penetration but has barbs to lock onto an intruding penis. Thus the (first) rapist is severely damaged by the device.

It has the effect of dissuading rape. Noone wants to be the first.

And the woman is contaminated by all that spilled blood.
