Not sure what the laws are there but if this statement is accurate I’m thinking it’s a no brainer.
That depends on where it took place. Here in GA it would be a no-brainer because our law allows deadly force in defense of our homes and property and we have no duty to retreat from an intruder before using deadly force. I don't know much about Indiana law on this issue, (actually none at all), but after having spent quite a bit of time in rural IN and thereby acquiring a very favorable opinion of Hoosiers in general, I tend to think it's probably not too much different from ours.
