Hannity had Deneen Borelli fill in for him one day last week. She was EXTREMELY entertaining.
“Throughout this whole time, the US economy is sinking, the stock market collapsing, foreign investment has all but stopped, tourism has died, and electricity, fuel, and water shortages are a daily occurrence.
Unemployment has almost doubled, and the US$ dollar has lost 20% of its value globally”
Sounds like us, alright.
Go, Tony go!
Sweet rant!!!
Good advice from Rush. There is no good reason to watch news channels, even FOX. Nothing new will be learned and it will only serve to irritate.
Been listening to more and newer talk shows lately, Some I never heard before. And others I have liked and been following for a little while. I did not get that One America News Channel yet. But I am trying to start posting some talk shows online at YouTube.
I joined Rusty Humphries to get his podcasts. I wish I could get Mancow, but not going there yet. Same with the libertarian minded Jerry Doyle.
I last saw that Andrea Tantaros’ podcasts were free. I don’t always get to hear her or cruise to her site.
I listen to Dana Loesch’s and Steve Deace’s podcasts. But while I found Laurie Roth’s site, and she is with IRN, there is no July 2013 podcast page so the podcasts end on June 28th. Then today she put a message on her site demanding money to help run her show and that it is in transition. Here is hoping she adds a July section. So now who knows about that. But I found her live tonight.
Herman Cain has no podcasts, just like Neal Boortz. So one has to hear it live and record it.
I am aware of dar.fm but it also charges for the service. However, I am just aiming to do some stuff not everything.
I also heard Andy Parks and Vicki McKenna, and some shows on a station out of San Diego. It was the station that had Rick Amato’s radio show, KCBQ, but he ended it and moved to One America News.
Then I realized those stations, owned by Salem Communications, have some of the second tier of nationally conservative radio hosts.
The first tier is basically Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Mark Levin, Rusty Humphries, Mike Huckabee and Laura Ingraham.
The second tier is Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager, Mike Gallagher, Bill Bennett, and Michael Medved. I would also add Dennis Miller, Herman Cain, and Lars Larson. There is also Roger Hedgecock and Tammy Bruce.
There are others out there as well such as Steve Malzberg on Newsmax Live, Jesse Lee Peterson, Chris Stigall, Jason Lewis, Don Imus, Darla Jaye, in my area, Jerry Agar and Chris Plante among others out there.
So that is the current landscape. It is quiet a lot. And I didn’t even go to the alternative underground shows like Hagmann and Hagmann and libertarian Peter Schiff.
Then there is three conservative radio networks with shows.
Red State Radio
Fox News Radio
The Blaze Radio
Along with the libertarian Republic Broadcasting Network which sometimes has some decent hosts.
I had trouble trying to download video from Sun News Network from Canada. I also think I will have problems with the Blaze TV as they disabled my downloading software.
So it is what it is. But it is interesting to see how much media we have on the right on radio and online. I am still thinking over what to do at the moment.
Then you have the weekend people like Bill Cunningham, Monica Crowley and Janine Turner. Then actor Dwight Schultz, followed Both Adam Carolla’s and Penn Gillette’s lead and created his own podcast feed to talk politics. And lastly we have video sites like PJTV, the coming Benn Swann project, and people who post video commentary at youtube.
I forgot to add Howie Carr to the list.
